{ houndstooth in fall }

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Well, I must say that picking out outfits in south during this season can be quite tricky. In the morning all  I want to do is put on riding boots and a sweater, but come 12p.m. I am dying and want to pull my boots off and trade my sweater for a blouse. This outift is perfect for that, in the morning I can wear tights and the sweater, and come lunch time I can pull the cardigan and tights off! That way when its time to head to work I don't even have to change.

P.S. Once again I would like to give a huge shoutout to the lovely Georgie  Latremouille for taking these amazing shots of me! She is an awesome up-and-coming photographer and I would love to recommend her to anyone that lives in the Augusta, GA area!

{ fall transitions }

Sunday, October 5, 2014

I hope everyone has had a great start to their fall semester! I know I have. This past month I have been keeping busy with sorority business, work, and school stuff. I don't know about y'all, but this can get super crazy and waking up in the morning knowing I wont be home until 9 is a little bit overwhelming! I am constantly trying to find a happy medium that I can wear to school, work, and for just hanging out. This Piko Tunic is perfect for fall because it can be worn as a dress in the warmer days that we are in now, but can also be worn with leggings as we move into the cooler months! I bought it in this mustard yellow color, grey, and green :) I'm just so excited for fall, and because this weather cannot seem to make up its mind, this is definitely my go to outfit right now. ALSO, I would like to give a shout out to Pomp and Circumstance Boutique for their amazing customer service and quick return time! I have never had a package get to me so fast, and for a girl who anxiously waits for packages, this was quite a treat!

P.S. Once again I would like to give a huge shout out to the lovely Georgie  Latremouille for taking these awesome shots of me the other day! She is an awesome up-and-coming photographer and I would love to recommend her to anyone that lives in the Augusta, GA area!

{ a pop of color }

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! I am so happy to finally see clear skies. The past week has been nothing but gloomy and rainy, and quite frankly, I was sick of it! Wearing my Hunters one day is great, but after 3 days in a row and it gets kind of old. So, in honor of today's somewhat sunnier skies I decided to throw on my favorite Sarta skirt and a fun polka dot top (don't forget the cardigan-it is fall after all, right?). In the south the weather has been kind of funky and cant seem to decide if it wants to be hot or cold, so this was my attempt to meet it in the middle!

P.S. I would like to give a huge shoutout to the lovely Georgie  Latremouille for taking these amazing shots of me! She is an awesome up-and-coming photographer and I would love to recommend her to anyone that lives in the Augusta, GA area!

{ Fall All Ready! }

Who's ready for fall?

THIS GIRL! I'm not going to lie.. I nearly died of a heat stroke taking these pictures-but hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, right? Hints of fall are popping up every where.. (yes, even here in Gerogia) and its making me so anxious for sweaters, plaid, and of course PSL's, I love this popover+pullover combo is definitely going to be one of my go to looks this fall. On campus I want to look cute, but I also don't want to freeze to death walking from hall to hall. Walaa.. perfect solution. This fleece lined beauty is sooo comfy and just so pretty. At $40 this pullover is the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe... trust me.

Until next time..

{ Rainy Day Hues }

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

Hello, everyone!

Long time no post, right? Back to school season is hitting everyone hard, and so is the rain! I am in love with just about everything CRA, just because of how much they stand behind their products and the quality of every item I own. This jacket has to be my favorite by far though. I don't know about yall, but good rain jackets are hard for a girl to find. I have a nice name brand one that payed $100 plus for, that barely keeps me dry and ends up leaving me more wet than before. Let me just go ahead and say, this is not that jacket. Its heavy duty, but not heavy in feel. I love that there is mesh inside, unlike other ones that I have owed that have no inside lining. Overall, if you are looking for the perfect rain jacket that is going to keep you dry on campus, or even just from the car to your house, look no further, this baby is all you need. Oh, and did I mention its under $60, comes in 10 different colors, AND it looks amazing monogrammed? Boom.

Hope everyone is having an amazing week and a lovely school year!

Until next time..

{ Sarta Designs Pt. 2: Seersucker Love }

Saturday, August 16, 2014

Hello Everyone!
This week, like many other college students (what-I am a college student..? I know, it shocks me too!) I will be heading back to school! What better way to say goodbye to summer than with some sweet seersucker? I have always loved seersucker, but there's just something about a sash that makes it ten times better! This skirt is PERFECT for sorority recruitment, church, dinner... you get it, pretty much anything! The best part is, if you want to dress it down, the sash is removable so you can do that in a second! Throw on a cute white button up or navy tank, and you have a perfect summer-fall transition outfit. This is actually the second part of my two part Sarta Skirt Saga, and I must say that these two skirts are my two new faves, no lie! OH, and as you probably noticed, I have a very special guest that appeared in this weeks post :)  My boyfriend has been begging-okay maybe not quite begging- but asking when he was going to get to make an appearance on my haileydailyxo account for quite some time now.. so I figured, whats better than double the seersucker!? Am I right? Plus, how could I pass up and opportunity to take some couple pics? ;)

Thanks for reading!

Until next time...
