Can we just take a moment to talk about how fab this skirt is?
Because it is.. and the best part is I actually collaborated with Alex of Sarta Designs and got to pick the fabric for this skirt! Never have I worked with such a sweet, determined, (and easy to work with) individual like Alex. She is the absolute best and I am so thankful I got the opportunity to work with her to create this skirt for her 'bloggers spring line'. This skirt screams spring and as soon as I found the fabric I knew it was going to be perfect for the line! I love hues like sea green, fuchsia, and chartreuse for spring. Although the ugly winter weather is still lurking outside, I want to pretend that spring is in fact around the corner, and by putting on this skirt I think it kind of gives me a slight bit of hope. I'm so excited to find new ways to style this skirt all spring and summer! With all of the different colors its pretty much impossible to go wrong. I love florals for spring just as much as every other girls in the world but it has definitely  been over done.. thats why I love this skirt because its like a modern twist on floral.

Until next time..

Old Navy Shirt//J.Crew Puffer Vest//Daniel Wellington Watch//LLBean Boots
J.Crew Factory Bracelet

FREEZING. COLD. RAIN.
That's all I've got to say about this post... But forreal though, I don't think I've ever been this cold before. I was so desperate to get some good shots I nearly froze to death! As you know, I took these pictures in Germany over the Christmas break. In the very last photo you can see my Oma's barn in the background. One of my favorite parts about Germany (besides seeing my family-and lets not forget the food.. hello 50 extra pounds coming home) is knowing that I'm staying in a house that is over 100 years old. It's so hard for me to imagine what life must have been like here a hundred years ago when this house was built! Looking at old pictures and talking about family members I've never met is so interesting to me.

On to the post..
I think I probably wore this exact outfit 3 times while there...I kid you not. It's just so easy. Bean boots were ideal pretty much every single day because of the yucky rain/snow combo that was going on all day. Believe it or not.. this puffer vest is actually really warm. Don't under estimate the puffer.

Thanks for reading!
Until next time..

{ Layers in the South }

I've never met a Sarta skirt I didn't like... true story.
If you leave any where near the south you are probably aware of the super high (for winter at least) temps we are experiencing right now. It's almost the end of January and it feels like its March or April. Don't get me wrong... I'm yearning for Spring just like everyone else, it just feels wrong. While taking these pictures I was actually kind of hot... that's not normal. Anyways, as you know if you frequent my Instagram or blog often, I am obsessed with Sarta Designs and all of the fabulous creations Ms. Alex makes. They're just so effortless and classy while still being functional and comfy. How often do you find that in a skirt? Not that often, let me tell you. A fun fact about this skirt is that Alex actually made 13 other ones for all of the girls in my sorority (Alpha Delta Pi) that will be attending District Leadership Conference at the end of this month. Thanks to Alex we will all be matching and look classy whilst doing so! P.S. Good news... if you've been on the fence and couldn't decide if you should get one or not, or you just need a little extra push to purchase one, you can use the code haileydailyxo to get 10% off any skirt(s)!!

Until next time..

Hey there!

This month I have been absolutely loving simple looks. These Aldo booties +  Piko top + jeans have been my go-to look lately. Throw on some dainty necklaces and boom you're done! When I'm at school from 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. I really don't want some heavy statement necklace around my neck all day. That's why I love dainty jewelry, because it makes the same statement but without all the fuss. Don't get me wrong... this girl loves some statement jewelry, but there is something so classy and simplistic about this "&" necklace. Who wouldn't want to get jewels like that once a month for a whole year? If you want to receive a necklace every month join @carriegraceshop's necklace club. Use the code: "2015" for $30 off or sign up for $16 a month!

Until next time..

{ Sarta in the Snow }

Sunday, January 11, 2015

Hello!

Long time, no post! As you may know (if you follow my instagram: haileydailyxo) I was in Europe over the Holiday Break! I was there visiting family and doing a bit a of travelling! It was such a wonderful trip and I am so thankful I got to spend so much quality time with my family during this time of year. Having said that, while there I only had the opportunity to shoot one day. The first week the weather was beautiful and perfect for shooting... however, me being me I procrastinated and wanted to wait until the snow came! Bad. Idea. The snow came alllllll at once and never stopped. It was so snowy, cold, and wet it was impossible to get good pictures! The pictures above were actually taken in freezing rain... it actually hurt haha. But, never the less I must confess my love for the skirt I have on! This Sarta skirt makes my 3rd skirt from her store (and definitely not the last- hint hint;) I decided to go with a linen skirt this time because I felt that black looked better in that fabric and looked a bit thicker (for winter). I'm so happy with my decision because it makes for the perfect fabric for this season, but linen is also perfect for summer because its a little more breathable than cotton! I can already tell this skirt is going to be a staple piece for me. It's perfect for when I have my chapter meetings for ADPi because I can just throw on some flats, a nice top, and I'm ready to go (I do this like every Sunday, people). I just love how easily they can be dressed up or down... not to mention the fab price. Sarta for the win.

Once again, thanks for reading!

Until next time...
