Hello again!

I have been looking for the perfect brown leather bag for years. Finding the bag in the right size, color, price, and style are harder to find than you would think! I love this one from Mahi Leather, and it meets all of those requirements, plus more! The amount of space it has inside is amazing, and I love how easy it is to just throw everything in and go. I used this bag when I hike Mount Yonah, I used it go shopping, and I have used it for class: point is, it is so versatile. The best part about this bag is that is under $125.00 and when you purchase a bag from Mahi, you are in turn supporting a much larger cause. Mahi Leather donates $1.50 from every sale to Frank Water Projects, a UK based charity that has helped over 300,000 people gain access to clean water since 2005. Lunch with Crepe Myrtle Cafe

Friday, July 14, 2017

Hello again!

Today I am so excited to be writing about my favorite little cafe in all of Auburn, Crepe Myrtle! This little cutie of a restaurant is tucked away behind the most adorable nursery, which makes for the prettiest scenery. When I first moved to Auburn back in August, I noticed that this place as I was driving to school and I thought "a crepe place in Auburn, I have to check that out!" So needless to say, I have loved it since the moment I first saw it. I went that very next week and I have been addicted ever since! If you have followed my for a while you have definitely seen a couple snaps and shots from this precious little oasis.
One of my favorite things on the menu is the "The Mexican" Crepe, which I made into a panini - so, so yummy! The best part about their menu is that all of the savory crepes can be ordered as a panini or salad, too! The sweet crepes are so delicious and decadent.. my personal fave is "The Sweetheart", which has is filled with Nutella and chopped up strawberries - a must have for me every time I go (sometimes I just call it in and take it home to eat alone because its that good, lol!) The back patio is my favorite place to eat because in the evening they have string lights that are lit up and make the sunset that much prettier. Overall, if I had to list all of my favorite places to eat in Auburn, this would definitely be my favorite one because of the food (obviously-holy yum), the ambiance, and the sweet staff that works there!
