Hey there!

It's finally October! I will admit that summer is always a hard season for me to let go of. I love the beach, longer days, and of course being able to take a breather from school. Although I do love summer so much, October always reminds me why I love autumn. I think its always hard in the south because the 1st is still blistering hot (yup, we're still in the 90s) and the end is sometimes freezing. Despite the south's confusing weather, autumn is a great time to refresh my wardrobe because I put away all of my summer clothing and get out my fall/winter wardrobe! It's always a nice surprise because I buy things at the end of the season that go on sale and I don't remember what they are until I open the box (lol!) This year though, I am loving transitional pieces more than usual. We are in this awkward limbo stage for so long and it makes it a little difficult to dress for fall (I know I say this all the time, but its just so true!) This sweater from THML is exactly what I mean by transitional: its lightweight, doesn't scream"hot, heavy sweater", and it is can be layered with a cute vest later in the season for a heavier and warmer look! The inside of this sweater is SO incredibly soft, it makes it perfect for all-day wear. The peplum ruffle at the bottom has to be my favorite part about this sweater though, I mean how cute!?
